Two Years Old

Our baby boy is two years old.  Time goes by so fast.  His stats:

Weight: 25 lbs 10 oz (35%)
Length: 34.5 lbs (50%)
Head: 20 in (97%)

Language:  He's becoming quite the talker.  He repeats just about anything you say and has strung together a few of his own 2-3 word utterances.  Not all of it is clear, but honestly, I think he's speaking Spanish so we don't recognize the word.  Poor kid has monolingual parents.  Words I know he knows: ball, car, train, bus, (complete with sound effects) bye, Cocoa, Kika (Mikaela), milk, my/mine, where, please, cheese, eat, mom, dad, Meme (Amy), Grandma, Grandpa (sometimes Pepa), book, no, baba (water), and others I'm sure I'm forgetting.

Food: He's a pretty good eater - at least in comparison to his sister.  He LOVES fruit and eats it willingly.  He enjoys turkey and chicken, cheese, yogurt, bread, and green beans.  He's much more open to eating other foods but will occasionally resist trying new things when he is in a mood to do what Mikaela does and she rarely tries new things.

Activities:

- dancing
- running
- jumping
- climbing
- swinging on things
- reading books
- knocking down towers that Mikalea builds
- making messes
- playing with cars
- playing with balls
- playing on whatever electronic device you have out
- loves to be outside

He wears size 24 mo pants and 2T shirts.  Size 6 shoe.  He sleeps about 10.5 to 11.5 hours a night (usually without a peep) and takes one nap in the afternoon.

Here's some shots taken by Mike for his 2 year photos.

And some with sister because she's just so pretty.

And that's what Nicholas is doing at age 2.

Winter 2015

For most of the winter, we've had cold temperatures, but it's been pretty mild.   Until recently.  We had two ice days (Feb 23 & 24), a 2 inch snowfall the following Friday (Feb 27), and then a gorgeous snow fall today.

We went over to our friends' house to play with their kids and have dinner.  It was a lot of fun.
