Winter 2015

For most of the winter, we've had cold temperatures, but it's been pretty mild.   Until recently.  We had two ice days (Feb 23 & 24), a 2 inch snowfall the following Friday (Feb 27), and then a gorgeous snow fall today.

 We went over to our friends' house to play with their kids and have dinner.  It was a lot of fun.

In an effort to beat the crowds, we went to see Santa prior to Thanksgiving.

Ice Storm 2013

We've hunkered down for the duration, having the supplies we need, including electricity which I know many have been without.  Mike ventured out for a few shots.  Here's what's around our house.

It's pretty, until you think about the fact that it's hard, slippery ice, not soft, powdery snow.  Stay warm and safe everyone!
