18 Months Old - part 1

On Thursday, Nicholas turned 18 months old.  We haven't had his check-up yet so I don't have growth stats.  We did go to the doctor this week though so I do have a weight of 22 lb 7 oz and the beginnings of his first sinus infection.   Gotta record all those milestones, right?

Anyway - he is feeling much better now.

He has 8 front teeth (top and bottom) and I think 4 molars (2 top, 2 bottom), but he's not keen on my checking.

Food:  He loves to eat.  Still loves to drink milk.  Fruit is his favorite but likes chicken, green beans, carrots (sometimes) pumpkin and banana bread, crackers, black beans, and cheese.

Language:
English: shoes, hat, mom, dad, milk, thank you, ready go, Cocoa, ball,
Spanish: aqua (sounds like baba); nina (that's what he calls Mikaela now);
Signs: car, hat, shoes, where, milk, please, eat, water, color,

All signs are accompanied with an approximation of that word, mostly English but some Spanish, except for car.  When he signs car, it's accompanied with "vroom" or some other sound effect of that sort.

He does a lot of babbling too where it seems he's asking you a full sentence but only one word is recognizable.

Activities:
climbing
throwing balls
throwing fits
coloring
dancing to music
talking on mommy's phone
reading books
dumping toys out of buckets
avoiding naps (almost down to one nap, but it's not very long for Mommy's liking!)
