Playing Catch Up

First, we'll take  you back to October 26th, where Mika and her pal, Tono went Trick-or-Treating at Frisco Fire Safety Town.  She really got the hang of sticking out her pumpkin and they'd give her candy.  She didn't quite master saying "Trick-or-Treat."

Next we'll reminisce the next night when Antonio came over to play while his mommy and daddy went to a costume party.   They had a blast and wore each other out by evening's end.

The following night, October 28th, Mikaela went to the Fall Festival at VVCC.

Plano Balloon Festival

The family decided to go experience the Plano Balloon Festival Friday night.  Every year we say we'll go and  never do.  So this year, we actually did.  Mike is running in the 5K race on Sunday which gave us some free tickets/parking, so it was the perfect year to go.  We met up with Mikaela's pal, Antonio and his family to watch them inflate the balloons and light up against the dark night sky.  Mike enjoyed taking 200+ pictures of the evening so here are just a few highlights.

We missed the actual launching of balloons, but saw a few in flight walking from the parking lot to the festival.
